Welcome to A Wellington Life: Weekend Edition - I’ve curated a few items to read, watch, listen to, and make this weekend to add a touch of extra sparkle to your everyday life.
Am I alive? Did I survive a warm, sunny day at a festival in Hyde Park? Sometimes I feel like I’m too old for this - two kids, a Volvo, and a Labrador really harsh the vibes - but then I think I’m not dead yet, and you’re only as old as you feel.
When I was younger, I always wanted to be so grown up. My husband said I’ve always been 30-years-old, even when he met me at 21, and now I get to come into my own. The irony is that I turned 30 and immediately started having more fun, going to concerts and wearing shorter skirts.
I hope you have a great weekend, enjoying some sunshine or family time, and taking some time to yourself to have fun - girly, sparkly, careless fun.

I also started having more fun when I turned 30! 30 is the new 20, as they say! Although, it was smarter fun. I have gotten into a car with more friends than seatbelts with some lying across the floor of the back seat in at least 15 years 😅😅😅 Psst... That means I did it for the last time when I was 27!!! And this didn't happen in the countryside, try downtown Montreal 😜
